Slideshow

I mentioned in an earlier post that I made a PowerPoint for Dad's viewing. I finally figured out how to add it here. Enjoy:

I came over from NaCommLeavMo. I'm sitting here at my desk in tears. I am just so sorry for your loss. My dad has battled heart disease (he had a quintuple bypass 2 yrs ago now), had it re-opened last summer, has had prostate cancer, and just last week had his final round of chemo for colon cancer.

I know how incredibly precious life is, and how incredibly lucky we are to have seen the other side of any of these serious health problems. And reading your post reminded me of how very close I came to being in your exact shoes, and made me want to fly home now, just to walk the garden with my dad.

Gah, I must stop before I turn into a puddle! I can see from your slide show exactly how dear he was to you. I wish you and your family peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I recently loss my dad, too.

The slide show is beautiful. He seems like a wonderful man.

Hugs,
Stacie

The slideshow was absolutely beautiful. I am not sure that I should have watched it while on Lupron though. There is nothing more precious than a father's love, and your dad seemed to live that concept to the fullest.
