FreeCycle

Just a quick post tonight, as it's late and I've been cleaning out the attics.

This is an awesome site:

Freecycle

It is full of things that people are giving away for FREE!

There are many sites so you have to find the closest to your area. The best part for me? You can post crap that you find in your house, and people actually want it and come take it away!

Things we've gotten rid of:

1.) A shower stall that was in our basement
2.) A bird
3.) An old printer
4.) A bag of postcards
5.) Hallmark Kissing Bears, Bridal Beanie Babies
6.) Wedding planner type books
7.) A set of dishes
8.) A scanner without the USB cord
9.) Old messenger bags
10.) A plastic coupon holder
and I'm sure there are other things I have forgotten. But I just cleaned out about half of our attics and I have 3 more boxes of stuff to get rid of.
Things we've gotten for free:

1.) A bag of toddler clothes including one awesome 70's style VOIT jacket, and
2.) This

but the old style kind that's short, and easy for Ché to actually use. Primary colors, small and portable and overall really great because it was free!
and I'm sure there are other things I have forgotten. But I just cleaned out about half of our attics and I have 3 more boxes of stuff to get rid of.
The last option at FreeCycle is that you can post if you are in need of, or looking for something and someone could respond to you. You never know what you have laying around that you may have forgotten about!

So, if you have time you may want to check it out and see if there's some free stuff you can get, or if there are things you can get rid of!

I just joined the Algonquin chapter a few weeks ago, but haven't posted anything yet. I am excited to start, though!
