Purpose

Every blog has a purpose. This blog's purpose is two-fold...

1.) Venting
2.) Raising Money

I guess these two purposes could require some further explanation, so allow me...

Purpose #1 -- Venting

We all have things in our lives that require venting, and I am no exception to that rule! Currently I am going to use this blog for venting about my family. My dad was diagnosed with cancer in Dec. of 2006 (more on this to come definately!) and it's been a hard journey for my whole family.

Purpose #2 -- Raising Money

Due to the cancer, my Dad can't work, and my mom runs her own business, but she's home taking care of my dad. To complicate matters, because nothing can be simple, my Grandma lives with them too! 3 people in one house, with no steady income makes for some tough situations. M and I have been helping out as much as we can, with money and food, and basic necessities, but that has had to take a drastic cut due to me taking a job with lower pay. Waiting for social security disability has taken some time, and the savings on our part and our parents parts have taken some big hits.


All in all, the blog exists for those 2 reasons. I ask that you help by donating even a few dollars, and will be working on setting up a system for paypal.
